Solar Smiles
Ethan Carswell is pictured assisting Phil Hill at a Solar Smiles fundraiser at Bunnings in Port Melbourne. Ethan was a Fitzroy Rotary Sports Scholarship winner in 2018. He is also a recipient of a study scholarship from Fitzroy Rotary for 2019. Ethan has committed to volunteering for the Club whenever he can.
Sports Scholarships Presentation
Each year the Atherton Gardens sports program run by Chris McGeachen includes a term at the Fitzroy Tennis Club. Below is Peter Hille pictured at the scholarship presentation at Fitzroy Tennis Club. The two recipients were Juan and Ruhama. Juan was unable to attend but Ruhama (in the pink shirt, middle of the photo) was most excited to receive her scholarship. Also pictured are students from the Australian Catholic University (ACU) who assist Chris with the program, as well as tennis coaches from the club and other young participants.
