2014 Rutherglen Fellowship & Golf weekend

March 22 / 23 / 24 was our Rutherglen Fellowship and Golf weekend, expertly organised, as always, by Peter Cash - to whom the thanks of all who attended.  The "Golfers" headed up to Rutherglen on Thursday evening, to be ready for an early tee off on Friday morning.  The Social attendees wandered in during Friday afternoon, in time for a social dinner at the local Pub.  Dinner was almost interupted by a huge storm which succeeded in causing a town wide electricity blackout.  Saturday dawned bright and sunny for the golfers.  Saturday night - the big dinner - was a mixed success, spoiled by the Restaurant forgetting Ern's dinner.  Sunday morning, after gathering for coffee and breakfast, everyone headed home.  A major fellowship aspect of the weekend is the pre-dinner gathering for drinks and nibbles on the motel lawn - see the attached photos.
